Nigerian and Chadian Soldiers capturted Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau alive after an open gun battle with the insurgents in Mubi.

During the fierce gun battle, the troops lost many soldiers but were able to capture the most wanted man in Nigeria alive.

Though Shekau was beaten and brutally injured, he has been arrested and now awaits full justice.

The raid saw the Nigerian troops exchanging gunfire with Boko Haram members in a bloody encounter. The event was captured LIVE on camera and the video has since been circulating online.
