Nollywood actress tweets Amy Schumer an empowering photo of herself in the nude to her 2.66 million followers and the reaction is what you would expect.
Shumer added this remark to the photo, “Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman. Thank you @annieleibovitz”.
34-year-old Schumer is an American stand-up comedian, an actress, and a producer. She is the creator and star of her own hugely successful sketch comedy series Inside Amy Schumer. She also co-writes her show which has been nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards and won two since it began airing in 2013.
The photo is featured in the 2016 edition of the Pirelli calendar which is now in its 43rd year. Next year’s issue features thirteen women of “outstanding professional, social, cultural, sporting and artistic accomplishment” who were shot by the doyenne of photography, Annie Leibovitz, in her New York studio in July.
Pirelli is an Italian tyre company and it’s calender is a feature in the global pop culture map.
