Emmanuel Emenike has said he is delighted to join ‘great club’ West Ham and can’t wait to play as Brazilian striker, Pato signs for Chelsea, saying he is so happy to sign for the Blues, describing it as a dream come true. 

Former Super Eagles player, Emmanuel Emenike has officially completed his loan transfer to English Premier league club, West Ham after the London club paid a fee of £730,000 to sign the Nigerian striker until the end of the season.

West Ham will also have the option to sign him on a permanent deal from Fenerbahce for £8.1million. Emenike revealed he is delighted to be given the opportunity to finally work with Slaven Bilic after joining . He told West Ham TV.

 

“I have always known West Ham as a great club. I have always been watching them. West Ham’s a great club and I am very, very happy and very, very excited that I am here.

I’ve known him [Bilic] for years. When he was at Lokomotiv Moscow, I was at Spartak Moscow, then he came to Besiktas and I was in Fenerbahce, so we have known each other for a long time. I’m happy to be here and happy to play for him.

We have followed each other’s careers and thank God we are here today and we are here together. That is why I am here, to always be in the first XI, always try to make the fans happy and to make myself happy. I really hope it works out. 

The Premier League is the best in the world, it is everyone’s dream to come and play here. I am excited to be here.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea Football Club has announced the loan signing of Alexandre Pato from Corinthians until the end of the season. Pato, whose full name is Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva, is a versatile forward player with an excellent touch and impressive turn of pace. 

 

Pato who is pictured above with technical director Michael Emenalo, said: “I am so happy to sign for Chelsea. It is a dream for me. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know my new team-mates and cannot wait to play. I thank Chelsea for their support and hope I can repay this faith to the club and its fans.”

 

Emerging as one of world football’s hottest properties while at Internacional in his native Brazil, Pato earned a move to then-European champions AC Milan in the summer of 2007.

Pato left Milan in January 2013 having scored 63 goals in 150 appearances. He returned to Brazil to play for Corinthians and subsequently enjoyed a successful loan spell at their city rivals Sao Paulo before becoming a Chelsea player.

 

Pato has made 27 appearances for his national team, scoring 10 goals, and represented his country at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
