A woman was found wandering through the streets completely n*ked and after she was taken home, a more shocking scenario was discovered.

 

An American woman found walking down a street in Spain completely n*ked has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing her baby.

Mirror Online reports that Police only discovered the attack after they were told of her allegedly frenzied behaviour, which included shouting in English and assaulting people. Two officers tried to reassure her and took her to her home so she could get some clothes.

However, when they got to her house, they were shocked to find the seriously injured ten-month-old toddler with several stab wounds. A knife was also found at the scene and the 35-year-old woman is said to have confessed to the crime.

The incident happened in the Spanish town of Utrera in Seville. Several people called the Civil Guard after spotting the woman walking down the streets, wearing absolutely nothing. She was cursing and insulting passers-by, as well as trying to attack them.

Witnesses said she was shouting words like “kill” and “Jesus”.

It is understood her husband works on a base nearby and was at work at the time of the attack. Neighbours say the police went into the house and one came running out with a baby in his arms.

The little girl was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but is said to be in a stable condition. They are being praised for their swift actions which may have saved the baby’s life.

The mother was arrested and taken to the psychiatric ward of the Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Seville.

Council spokesman, Francisco Campanario said they were very shocked but there had been no record of previous problems with the family.
